Due to the fluctuating gas prices I may have to charge a bit more than the Base Prices. Distance traveled to fishing location is a majot factor. I will continue to keep my pricing as low as possible for my intended clients. These are single parents, parents of and people with handicaps. My goal is not to compete with the professional guides but to enable the less fortunate to get out and enjoy some fun fishing.
Half Day
Perfect if your time is limited.
- I supply boat, gas, life jackets, bait and fishing gear.
- I have heavy, medium and light rod and reel sets, depending on what fish you want to target.
- Guests must have a valid fishing license.
- You are welcome to bring your own fishing gear.
- I can fillet fish for you or show you how to do it yourself.
- No alcohol allowed.
- I do not supply food or drinks.
Base rate $200.00 / 4 hrs.
Full Day

- I want to make your trip as enjoyable as possible.
- I will book my own accommodations as close as practical to your destination.
- I will meet you each morning at the boat launch.
- If need be I can shuttle you to and from your campsite / hotel room.
- Evening and night fishing can be arranged.
- Other conditions will be similar to those mentioned above.
Based on $60.00 / hr / 10 hr day
Assiniboine River rate is $55.00/hr/2 or more people or $50.00/hr for 1. Minimum 2 hours
All guests should bring appropriate personnel clothing, sunscreen and bug spray, depending on the weather forecast for the date(s) of your outing. Remember that it usually feels cooler on the water and the weather can change very quickly. Staying dry helps you to stay warm.
Snacks, meals and refreshments are the guests responsibility.
This business is intended to enable people on a low budget get out fishing on many of the lakes and rivers in Manitoba, If things work out I will try to turn it into a non-profit organization. Nothing fancy, just fishing and fun with new friends and old friends.
